He's got a book about them, but apparently it can take years to find the sex... Something to do with the shape of the tail

 

yup, is his a herman? if the tail has a hook like curl, its most likely a boy, but like you said, it takes years till you can properly tell

 

As far as I'm aware he is? I'll ask and find out.. Though the pics you've posted look very similar to him/her.

They are ace. Grey RS's sister had one, they called it get off, cos u would put it down. and it would always get off It moved proper fast, i was well shocked.
