Default what car for 5-7k?

got 5k with the intention of buying a saph, but looked at some and in that price range the chances of a mint one without high miles and FSH are few and far between, so what other cars are there to consider? i can also chop in my st24 as well if i find a car i would be happy to drive to work in etc

i have the same dilemma. Although my maximum is Ł5k.

So far my top 2 choices are:

MR2 Turbo
Evo 3 GSR

Slightly favouring the EVO at the moment.

Didn't think you could get an S4 for this money.

gott be 4wd if looking at acossie, loked at a few and looked at 1 today, and so far all have needed a fair bit of work to be honest

gotta have 4 doors i thinks, unless i buy a cheap track car i suppose and spunk the rest on an everyday car, also hoping the RS Turbo will be gone soon, ebay auction ends tomorrow

end of the day Gra, you know whatever you buy, you will still yearn for a cossie, and nothing else is ever quite the same is it? So you might just as well wait and find a nice car, especially as its show season, and no doubt there will be some stunning cars for sale on the days
Didn't you used to have a black 4x4 saff with white wheels? what happened to that?

my old cossie turned out to be a GLX when it left the factory, the first owner even changed the v5 via the dvla from glx to cossie, i had history frm 94 and the car was changed in 91 (was a 1990 car), hence why i need FSH, which alot clain but dont actually have

good point about the show season, may just wait and go nat day and fastford etc

shite unfortunatly it is a bit of a minefield, but 2 of my mates bought 4x4 saffs fairly recently for very sensible money with good mods and all the history, so don't give up Always the way when you are car hunting, all the good ones seem to dissapear But its a buyers market at the moment, there seems to be a lot of nice cars not selling, and even Ebay seems to be struggling to shift them.
