Default 1993 escort cosworth big turbo

I have got a 1993 escort cosworth big turbo. Dose anyone know which side of the boost control valve the pipes fit.One goes to the actuator and the other one goes to the turbo compressor.I have just noticed that it has never been conected,it has just been there. Many thanks. Kerry.

the W port goes to the actuator, the C port goes to the compressor housing and the R port goes back to the airbox,or is left off if you have a cone filter

Hi. Thanks for the reply. On my boost control valve it only has 2 pipe conectors on it not 3 and there is no C or R port stamped on there. All that is on one of the pipes is a white dot.

basically the compressor housing pipe is t'd into the wastegate pipe, this then goes to one connection on the amal valve and pressure is bled off through the other connection[white dot],the white dot one usually goes to airbox/filter,the escort one is diff to sierras
