My mate has a cossie engine, its on a pallet at the moment but we connected up the management loom and had it turning over but cannot get it to spark, coil is hooked up and everything is earthed, lives are connected for the ecu etc. Anyone any ideas what we could test or something? Its a red top engine from a 2wd saph, 89 model i think

black/red = fuel pump live
green= tacho
brown/white= temp sender
reds think theres 2 with black inner = batt +
engine must be earthed to battery

All browns are earth

Got all that mate, should it have an ignition amplifier or something connected? if so where does that connect to the management loom?

Without an ignition module it will never start! It should be an oblong 7 pin connector with only 5 of the pins used.

 

Looks like the TFI module is missing, guess that could be a problem aswell lol
