well it is a ford, gave it a kick and most of it fell off lol.
got 2 new wings and a front panel to go on, also going to get some new doors and new boot in next couple of weeks cant wait to take the kit off and see how bad she is underneath

well so much for a resto, with the house move etc ive had no time so for the time being its gonna go back together until i can find a lockup.

it has changed a bit for the better but ive had a look and theres not as much rust as i thought so it will do me for now



still gotta sort the interior out, get another front bumper, new mirrors and standard rear lights etc

still got my alloy rad and intercooler to fit properly then get a flexi welded onto exhaust and a new engine mount fitted

 

oh and heres a pic of my powdercoated rocker i got from ford fair for 25 sheets . still gotta sort out the lash up job of the hoses etc

well gutted, was supposed to be ready for national day but was nowhere near complete even with loads of help from ESCORT RS PICKUP. top man

anyway little bit of an update, have finally managed to plump in alloy rad and even trace back to the original wires from the temp sender so instead of just having it on a manual switch its now as ford intended.also fitted my amber indicators and my new headlights will be going on today.

as a mock i put the old spiltter back on and tbh i now think it looks a lot better suited with the wheels and ambers.

anyway just a couple of pics until later today...

Whats your plans for the fez? just body work, or are you doing engine aswell?

 

no dont have his no.

as for fez it mainly bodywork, its had a full respray before but its that crap it all needs doing again, i need to get every panel including doors boot and bonnet so thats gonna be nice and expensive.

engine wise its pretty much where i want it at the mo but i do wanna t3 it and get some beiges and then i should hopefully be looking at around 180 ish bhp

 

with beiges it should be closer to 190

 

even better, thats assuming the chip i have is a 195 like i was told and not a 165 otherwise ill be paying a visit to msd

 

 

oh dear, done the mount today and to say its fucked is an understatement lol
