Well its sold
I have a buyer for my Escort need to decide by Saturday if I am going to let it go
,
I dont need to sell it but I dont drive it any more,
My options are,
Towards Workshop,
Or Biuld on House,
Or another car,
Somebody did a very good job on convincing me not to sell it today
,
If I dont sell it I am likely to spend over 15K on it as I wont be able to help myself
.

We need a monster Es Cos to compete or just to add to the legend of great cars Mark, do it - you only have to pay for parts so not as expensive as most can be
You were always in the limelight a few years back and still are in many ways, but YOU haven't built yourself a car, just customers - not the same IMO

My Evo has spoilt me thats why I dont drive it, If I keep it I will spend the money and still not drive it
,
Not going to get a Noble I cant justify spending that amount of money, But I do have thoughts on a Lotus Exige
Dont know why as I know it wont be as fast as Evo and break a lot.

I dont think I now need a demo or Biuld a big power car In the Ford market I have enough cars out there to show I can do it
,
The Evo now going to 550hp and 500ftlb with new rear diff and Carbon prop
,
I should be aiming at a workshop dont wont to rent may buy a Farm instead.

I'd say keep it, it's history m8... But then again. You also got an EVO. You have a big luxery problem
If you bored of it, just sell it. Get a bigger workshop or so.. Maybe an escos in the future and built it more powerfull than this one

Mark there is no way you are getting into an Exige surely??? At least with an Elise you can take the roof off and peer over the top of the screen
Does that 15k include a decent gearbox and diffs to take the power form the engine mods you no doubt have wizzing around your head??
Just out of interest, I phoned up about a French 4wd tranny that the rallycross guys use today, Ł40k and that don't include the ECU to run it
Makes my OS geiken seem a bit Council really!!

in the words of a mate of mine in the car trade
"theres always other cars to buy but not always another punter willing to buy yours"
if your getting what you want for the car then sell it, you can always buy another one if you miss it, as for spending the money on you house ?, you have to look long and hard to see if the expenditure will justify the increase in your property price, sometimes its cheaper to put the money towards a bigger house rather than go for extension etc, cheers nomad

I have an evo6 aswell a an esc cos, and although the the evo drives, handles and generally runs a damn sight better than the cossie, i could never sell the cossie!!!
Especially if i was in the position of Mark, having owned his cossie since NEW! i could never sell it!!!
