Default Clicking noise from engine...

Noticed a distinct clicking noise coming from around the rocker/head area which comes and goes. Its not a tappet sound at all, a very distinct click at random intervals. Any idea what it could be??

Cheers,
Dan

Hopefully nothing on Dans engine will be worn! Isn't it all quite new?

I know this sounds like a silly idea dan but is your oil topped up?

Any blockages or anything? apologies for stating the obvious mate but happened to me before and the oil was low

Well I adjusted the sensor a fractional last night before taking it out again, and when I returned the clicking had gone. Whether this was due to the engine being warm or the sensor was causing the problem I'm not sure, I'll find out this morning

Fingers crossed!!

Cheers guys,
dan
