as title.its that time of yr where my contract is up and i was gonna cancel but O2 offerin me cheap as chips line rental and a new phone.

i quite fancy a nokia 6230. anyone recommend?

annoyingly i can get a sony ericcson T630 WAY cheaper than the 6230 so would anyone swap me a brand new 6230 for the T630 if i got that instead?

I've just got a 6230,best phone i've had yet.

 

My 6230's in the post fucked off orange and went to O2 as they did it for free and was able to keep my number
Excellent phones, my mates just got one and the camera is superb

i got a 6230 on upgrade off O2 for free after i told them i was gonna leave them for another company if they didnt. I didnt really like the 6230 so ive sent it back and getting K700i instead as i much prefer them.

 

Got mine for free on an upgarde.

i called up to cancel my Ł15 a month contract cos i only got it last yr to get the phone and dont even need the sim card.
they have offered me a reduced tariff of Ł8.50 a month which includes vat but if i want a new handset then the 6230 is Ł99 but the T630 sony is Ł9.99!

should i be entitled to a free upgrade?or no cos its on a low tariff?

The upgrade value is all based on

The line rental that you have and are going to pay

The value of the calls you have made in the last 12 months

You payment history etc

SO if your on a cheap tariff with low bills etc you wont get as much "Upgrade" value

Go to a carphone warehouse they are pretty cool with letting you know how much you could have as discount
