Hi, car has been stood around for about 2 months,

took it out for 2 very short trips, and the ABS warning light comes

I had this problem when I bought my car. ABS light came on at about 20 mph. It turned out it was a wheel sensor. Ford should have or be able to get hold of a break out box to tell you which ones knackered

east to test sensors with a meter if open circuit they are nbg, but that should also put abs light on all the time, so I suspect that maybe cleaning the face of all sensors and greasing the toothed wheel inside the hole after removing sensor may help, best of luck as can be troublesome to sort out. also the fluid level will trigger warning lamp, maybe fluid a bit low and when driving the fluid moves in master cylinder and alerts the system and then triggers the light, worth checking before taking everything apart. If all else fails the circuit diagram would help but I only have the one for a 2wd.

I think there was something posted on here about ABS fault finding inthe technical section. I've got some info I can e mail you if needed.
Apparently the grease you need to use is Lithium based and a new O ring should be fitted when changing the sensor
