I did when I ran soft springs on the back. The back of the car seemed to roll a lot and unsettled the diff (as the weight shifted) causing it to start of slight, then get worse and worse until I had to lift off the throttle.

I stiffened the back up (160 pound springs) and refitted the rear ARB.

Default quaife atb

cant say i have experienced it myself, but to be honest i think its all about balancing the car up and being gradual with the throttle, heal and toe mate . Your suspension must be awesome, how much does the bilstein kit cost and did you need to mod anything to fit them???? i have found that which ever way you point the steering and plant the throttle the car goes, its not a bad thing but you gota get use to it and like i said try and experiment with the amount of gas you give it on entrance and exiting corners. I am sure once you get your suspension set-up then it will be alot better, thats the key i think

I don't think springs play much of a part. More like it's the design/2 differing
length drive shafts.Besides didn't you always want forearms like Popeye?

Mine pushes 212 ftlbs and is VERY 'entertaining' on the torque steer front but then again the way the quaife pulls it around corners compared with the old lsd is nothing short of amazing.

Nige, I am on the MEF rear arms too!

Are you having issues accelerating out of corners or accelerating in a straight line?

Its all in the setting up of the various adjustable components.
More than just a few hours were spent on the initial setup of my S2, and although it needed a few tweeks afterwards mainly at the rear,
I cant say it has ever suffered major torque steer.

Hope you get it sorted out, Its either a case of paying an expert in geometry to get things right from the start or a case of trial and error, well worth the effort though

cheers guys
its only in a straight line that it suffers
andy
the place i use took ages the first time to set it up(6hrs+)
it happens only on very hard acceleration and slightly when your slowling down from silly speeds

i dont think it will be the diff causing this mate, best bet is to try a few different set ups, once you get it right you will not be dissapointed. I heard very good things bout the suspension set up that steve hill motorsport do.

As above its very very unlikely to be the diff as the ATB ensures that the power is distributed equaliy, this would again lead me to look at the cars geometry.

In a straight line it should just leave big black lines if you accelerating from a stand still, but pulling you forward at the same time, rather than torque steering, and pulling to the left or the right.

From your description it sounds like the effect you describe is happening as weight is transfered to the rear(under acceleration) or as the rear becomes light (under brakeing). Which would lead me to believe its related to the setup at the rear being to aggressive(biased towars cornering). Hopefully your next setup will cure your problems...best of luck.
