Default uprated cam in standard head

if i put uprated cam in my rebuilt standard head with a set of adjustable pulleys would it make any difference or will it need port/polish??

Also make sure there not too big or you will need pocketed pistons too

fancy some bd10 or sumthg what do u sujest,will have low comp pistons lightened/balenced bottom end t34,stage3 rs500 cooler what bhp should i be looking at

Shouldnt be that far from 350 mate depending on who sets it up and how much boost your gony run, expect around 330/340 reliably

The key to reliabality is to treat it right with plent of service`s, a 205 block should be fine mate, theres plent of them seen 450 plus with no trouble

if you fit the better cam in the standard head youll find that the airflow through the head ports will be faster than that of the modified ported head. thus giving you beter drivability and economy. the larger ports will reduce air speed and improve air flow, encouraging the fuel the form droplets. this doesnt matter when your revving the cock off it because the fuel will vapourise properly but at low speeds it wont be as efficient.
