escort rs turbo new price £1500. SOLD
i have just taken in this white g reg (not 90 spec) escort rs turbo and it has the makings of a good car.still has original wings which are in good condition.i sold this car about 2 years ago and since then the guy has a small fortune at a local tuning shop called "urban racing".i have been informed that they have rebuilt the engine and am waiting for all the documentation to prove.i do know they fitted a new turbo there as i saw it being done.i have set the boost to 10 psi and adjusted the timing and it goes quite well.
it has also got new roose boost hoses,dump valve.staniless exhaust.new starter and alternator.
externally the car is standard looking with original alloys and decent tyres.
bodywise the car could do with a small amount of tlc-both doors have some rust bubbles on the top edge and also some on the tailgate.its only minimal and could be repaired easily.
interior is nice and clean and has cd player.uprated speakers and bass box!
car has about 8 months mot and 5 months tax.
a quite original car which with a bit of tlc could make a nice thing.
dont forget it has a new turbo and a rebuilt engine(?)
i want £1500 for the car and will post some pics up tomorrow/mon.

mark has got it (the ex-chairman).
its so hard to find decent s1's now for sensible money.a guy i know has just bought one for £1500 thinking he got a bargain,but the shell is fucked to the point there is only filler holding it together.
better with a s2 mate
although the s1 looks better,its like the 3 door/sapph thing
