i sold a car on wesnday 4 200quid the guy said ill pick it up on sunday he gave me the money no paper work was done no recipt or nowt .
he rings me this mornin and said i dont want the car now sell it sum 1 else and says ring me so i did about 10 times no answer or shit like that so i sell the car now hes bangin on that he wants his money back i say um no u can have 100 quid back as u fucked me around he says ive bin to the police and that the cars his and the money ?

do i have to give him anythin as theres no recitpt just word of mouth ?

Bottom line is he put down a NON-returnable deposit. if you'd backed out of the deal 1st its your duty to give him the money back. But you didnt so you keep ALL the money.

Problem is theres no paper work to that effect. Which is good and bad for you.
