Right, going to have my cabriolet sprayed soon....i was going to put a Series 1 kit on, but numerous people on here have said not to.

I think that would look really nice with the S1 kit on it.

I'd leave the kit off, the lines of that car are really clean and uncluttered.........it looks really good as it is. Personally if the car were mine I'd leave it.

I've just realised a major flaw in my Poll

You can't answer that with yes or no

Check the "re-shells and replicas" album on the database & you will see how it *could* look if you kitted it out.

I just put a kit on my stratos silver mk3 3i in the resto section. I personally think it makes the car, but each to their own, if we all liked the same it would be boring.

Putting a kit on a car which is straight and not needing a paint imo is not worth it as the car looks good as it is.

Yes it will look better with a kit.

But How much money later

Thanks for the kind words EVERYONE, but, its not as mint as it looks it goes to prove how deceiving pictures are.

Its had poor spray work done in the past, the coach lines have been used to cheat, the drivers side line was removed and this became evident.

Plus the fact theres some nice key marks on the bonnet (many thanks to my ex ), and the drivers side wing has been replaced very poorly, (they left the top of the old wing on for some queer reason), and there are other scratches etc.

So its getting a full spray, and this is decision time.

Keep your opinions coming

Well, either the same, OR i think that silver the 106's come in is quite nice. Its going to be engine out and doors off so there won't be any different colours visible

What are those black objects currently on it in the picture then

Hmmmm i have to admit i do think it looks good now, one thing is for sure those rims will look awful with a S1 kit.

I'm pretty sure it wont the cabby boot is no where near the shape of a tailgate, its completely flat for one.
