Default Cossie Help for my mate (SVONY)

Hey guys any of you cossie gurus give my friend a hand? he's new to cossie, and just picked one up and is doing a minor car rebuild. Thanks peeps!
He had a topic in Technical but had no replies

HELP!!!! Spark/Fuel will not start...Cossie 4X4

Before this the car would start but the idle would hunt, this is my first Cossie and I have no idea what else to look for.

Look towards the coolant temp sensor first of all and then the phase sensor.
