Did any Series 2 come from factory with......
openin rear quarters...?
heard a rumour and mine aint brown tint like series 1...
just wondered if it was true?

you can get the green tint opening rear quarters you have rare as rocking horse shit tho

German S2 option - green tint. Brown tint looks cool though with a fornts in green - they look darker.

Brown tint does look smart, but keep it consistant. replace all the glass with brown tint!

Are you sure? I've never seen an S2 with opening rear quarters here in Germany. Sounds more like it could have been an option for the italian or spanish market.

brown one's dont look right.. no one likes mis match of glass.
Green are fairly rare, but available for the right money

nah, either brown or green not a mix & match of both, ive seen it and it dont look right!
, prefer brown tint myself as the green tint isnt much of a tint IMHO.

People are talking about the factory tint in the glass not Chav Power tints.
The S1 came from the factory with a bronze tint and the S2 came with a green tint

i have just had some series 2 opening rears set by a mate in spain but they are bronze so now im selling them with teh hope of finding some green titn when i go over next month
any1 want em?, complete with rubbers n hinges, un etched

I just changed the rest of my glass to bronze tint. Looks different to the usual green tint and it matches

It's difficult to tell from them apart from the last one which is side on, but I think that looks smart. Like you say it's different, but in a good way I think.

The last one you can really see the difference between the bronze tints on the side and the green tinted windscreen.

The opening Quarter glass on the S2 was an option from new.
I think it was around £200 back in them days which is why not many of them had the opening rear quarters.
The green tint glass is still available from Ford.

u can get green tint opening quarter glass from autoglass etc!cheap too!

glass itself (green tint) is available from ford for about £50 per side...just the brakets and seals are hard to get...apparently they fir off another vehicle though...still trying to find out which one

Cudn't you use the brackets of another car, say a mk1 reno cilo as these all came wiv open rears i tink, as for the seals PASS
