Mine took 6 or 7 weeks to arrive after I was told it would be 4 weeks. There was a delay getting the gears shot peened IIRC.

Sorry for the delay on Stage 1s guys
The reason for this delay is that we are short of re-rateable RST LSDs at the moment.
There are two types of LSD on the turbo box. One is re-rateable one isn't.
We usually depend on old units coming back, for the re-rateable diff units, however, owing to slow return of old boxes, plus several of those boxes coming back with the un re-rateable diffs, we are having to buy boxes in for their diffs.
Once we have a re-rateable LSD, hopefully it is in serviceable condition. If not it has to go in the bin
If it is serviceable, then they normally take around 4-5 days to re-rate, as it takes this long to get all the air out of the fluid that the viscous pack is filled with
Funny how the guy's at Fast Ford manage to get a 'while you wait' service........!
There is an awful lot of choreography goes on behind the scenes to make that "while you wait service" appear as it does. Plus, Jon Hill always brings biscuits

Just to add we had a very reasonable turnaround when my bro ordered his stage 1 box and it was very much worth the wait.

I'm on gearbox number 13 and I can't rate the CTS box in the car highly enough. bsolutely superb

These boxs are getting older and harder to source parts for so it may mean a wait until the parts arrive. As much as your pissed at having to wait imagine how pissed you would be if you were to receive a sub standard gearbox.

Snap Westy 11 boxes of complete crap despite costiong more than a Bernie box . 1 that lasted almost a year and the one that's in there now Bernie's) that has been fine for the last 18 months.

My record breakage was 3 hours from collecting the car to it being low loaded back to the garage. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of there being proper tuners when I first had my S2. Lessons learnt
