Default Single Wiper

What do people think of having a single wiper on thier RST? I currently have one but am thinking of putting it back to standard, would I have to get a new scuttle panel for this?

Thanks.

I cant decide really. My current mechanism has gone tits up and therefore doesnt work properly so will need to get a new mechanism which got me to thinking if I got to do that, it would be a good time for me to decide which way I actually want to go.

well if the holes have been welded over then yes im afraid so. good one you for putting it to standard. generally single wiper conversions dont work as well as standard. they look better in my opinion though. so if it works well......

Im kind of thinking that a single wiper suites a more modified motor, and the standard wiper's suite a less modified motor. Im kind of demodding my car lol (think its my age!!), it will have a RS front skirt on the front and alloy's and that will be about it on the outside.

not your age mate, just change in taste. im 23 with a standard one.....but im going stage 1 this yr hee hee.

how about taking the rest of the car to how you want then stepping back and looking at it with a single wiper then decide if it needs to go. basically change the bits that can be changed cheaply 1st

Welll, the reason im wanting to make a decision soon is because it is being resprayed soon, so would be an ideal time to get it changed back to standard if I wanted. Thanks for your thoughts!

IMO the only thing you should do to a turbo is wheels and an exhuast....but the single wiper is a nice subtle touch so u can stick that on the list too.....perfect looking as it is

anything with a kit mite as well go in max power

Are you SURE that fans big enough

Single wipers are good as long as you buy a proper mechanism and dont just cut and re-weld your old one, they work poorly IMO

Yeah, I suppose it all comes down to personal taste and that. It's like asking what is the best color RST, that always opens a can of worms - but I stand by my statement, PINK is the best color!!!
