my lights stopped working a couple of days ago high beams ok but no low beam checked all the fuses all are ok when i put the side lights on the low beam comes on very dim with a loud clicking noise from under the dash but when i switch to low beam nothing

 

mayb relay problem...


had lots of probs with loom with for lights with my last series 2...

never did get to the bottom of it!!!

 

At the baack of the fuse box you will see two small relays usually white. Remove them and check the terminals underneath for corrosion or melting. Also check the lighting fuses usually about 4-6 of them.

 

yea as above matey... white or brown i think... they controll the light... sumtimes burn out!

 

checked all the above still not working

 

Try another stalk switch, or check the earths to the lights to see if they are earthing properly. Have you made sure the bulbs havent blown both sides although this wouldnt explain the clicking noise from the dash.
