hi ,

buddy rebuilding his escort cant get original pipe from fords for his es cos 92 big t.
description as follows

leads from water pump in rubbers pipe to metal @ 1" to along base of rad towards passenger wing ,then up right side of rad and then over to expansion bottle.changes back from metal to rubber piece to bottle.

any ideas,ford microfiche shows straight pipe and not what he has.

if you mean the rusty pipe that goes along the bottom of the rad don't bother buying a new one from Ford it will only rust again

Their are two or three traders that sell the same pipe in stainless steel and it will never rust
I need one for mine so I will be getting one from national day.

I *think* MarkRS was getting these made up in stainless, but could be wrong, lol.

In my experience, the Ford Microcat pic's are shite for certain parts - take a look at the EsCos front spoiler (stone deflector) assembly for example (looks like the RS500 one!) so might actually be what he needs, just drawn poorly......

yes micro cat shows straight metal pipe rather than he L shaped one

As above these werer available a short while ago when I piked one up, though there wasnt anybody making stainless ones at tat time

Propper ECos one mate,. L shaped... Idid look for the invoice a bit back, to give the finis cde to someone on here butcoukdnt find it sorry.....wasnt expensive either mate
