Anyone looking for IT work in City?
The downfall would be that they have to work with me
Just started here on Tuesday and they need another person. The agent has asked if I know of anyone as he's all out. It's real simple first and second line stuff in the usual apps. Tis on Bishopsgate and pays WELL. Obviously I don't wanna be inundated with people with crappy cvs but if anyone's seriously interested shout me.
Is Russ still looking does anyone know?
Oh and of course I want 50% commision on all wages earned.. oh alright, a drink will do

dont get me wrong eagle, i'd happily apply... but i dont wanna embaras myself if im underqualified... coz at the end of the day most employers will just see me as a 21 year old kid with no certificates/qualifications in the field and only 3 and a bit years experience
if we talking an all singing all dancing 30+K job that needs MSCEs, CCNAs, Degrees etc. etc. then i'd just look a TWAT by applying

Well if anyone is interested send me your CV and I'll forward them and don't stress it, I won't be looking.
You should delete past salaries from your CV though as it means you'll get more cash.
And Jim, I've been offered every job I've been interviewed for, all 168 of them lol

weldone cola i think this is very nice of you, and it does pay really well for what is asked trust me i've been looking for a job like this for ages got one now though
wish this came up earlier though
Jim
Regardless you should apply for jobs you may think your underqualified for to gain exp. As I just interviewed for a techie job paying 26k and it was given to bird with no qualifications and limited exp. cos she was the better candidate and came across better on the day. qualifications are no the be all and end all,

Jim go for it mate, I went for a Group pensions manager job in town when I was 19. Had 6 months experience and got the job.
Maybe because I was only looking for a salary of 5k less than what I should have been earning
but fool me I didn't know that. £1200 a month after tax was a lot of money for a 19 yearold!
Go for it mate, what you got to lose.

is it contract? seems a lot for permanent? Cola, thought you used to be an IT Manager or summat, how come you have gone down to Support? I remember when I used to be on £25 per hour permanent but I was consulting, not supporting but in the North too.
'Lo Andy!
Yeah I was an IT Manager but this pays way more for way less stress. I've got an interview for another Manager job in Watford paying 34k perm, but swings and roundabouts innit.
Tis an absoluely astonishing rate for first second line, but that's really all it is. They are very focused on customers though, so that side of things is just important as techy skills.
