Just swapping the clutch on my turbo and i was wondering if the flywheel needs to be skimmed. have included a picture of it for any expert opinions




If so, would CTS be able to do it for me as im taking my gearbox up there next week anyway.

looks ok to me..... as long as the working area is not stepped lower due to wear (can't tell from picture) it should be fine.

As per Martins reply. It looks flat and evenly worn but my "micrometer fingers" don't seem to be working at this distance!!

looks like there's a ridge(shown just by where the amal valve is)

yeah there is a bit of a ridge around the edge of it, not seamless when i run my finger over it.

Alvyn i think your right, considering im spending about £900 on clutch+box il get it done.

i assume CTS will be able to do it for me, i forgot to ask them on the phone the other day

I would advise to get it skimmed, my mate's cossie was like that after 200 miles it fooked his clutch

Costing more time and money

Only you can tell us wot its like (things look better in pic's take my car for example )

Cost about £50 plus vat thats what i paid for my cossie one
