Default Why wont my 330 AP's fit under my 17" comps???

As above really. I have just put my 330 AP's on the 4x4 K plate saff and they dont fit under the wheels. I have 7.5x17 Comp Mo's 5 spoke et38 so in theory they should fit. I have had to put 3 or 4 mm worth of washers to get the wheels to turn( not going out like that). I can put spacers on but did not think I should!!!!!

The bells on the discs are flat. Is this correct?

Graham

Be fine with a 5mm wheel spacer.

That sort of depth wont need a hubcentric one.

I have the same problem - ET37 7.5j Comps - using a 6mm spacer.

Not ideal, but works ok. Think the offset is the problem.

I've been round Donnington, Coombe and the Ring with no problems.

Thanks for your replies guys. It looks like I need a spacer then. I need to use a spacer anyway as my wheels are very close to the coilovers so the spacers will kill two birds but will defo need to adjust the arches

Hi,

I bought them second hand a while ago so its my own fault really. Mr McSharp is gonna lend me a couple of his new bling 18's you gave him and I may end up purchasing a set of 18" six spokes. I did not want to do that but sometimes needs must.

Thanks for your reply Martin I appreciate it though.

Graham

PS they are Mr Sharps shonky old brakes from his Escort

if the brakes have flat bells then the fault is with the wheels.

Hi Martin,

Yes they have flat bells so it looks like something is not quite right with the wheels I bought.

Compomotive have 2 castings available for your offset... one accommodates 330mm brakes the other does not.... I sell the one that does!
