Default Another amal jetting topic....

Yes i have looked at the tech section!

Now you have c w r ports....at the moment on my Saff -31 actuator on half a hole preload with a T4...I am running a 1mm jet in the "c" port and the other 2 are fully open.

In 2nd gear boost is fine about 2bar but in 3rd it peaks to 2.3bar and holds 2bar which again is fine...but 4th it goes 2.5bar...not held it long enuff to see what it drops too!!!....So in 5th it would be even higher...

My question is assuming i stay as i am now with the 1mm "c"port jet, would either of the other 2 ports stop the spike by reducing the size if so which one?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

By fitting a jet in the “R” port there is the likelihood of reducing the amount of boost spike. It would be nice if you can get yourself a bunch of jets ranging from 2mm to 4mm in 0.5mm increments and test them in port “R” till you have your desired boost curve.

Lets us know the results if you do test this.
