Years ago you used to be able to buy from Ford a lower splitter/skirt that attached to 88 spec bumpers.

I've seen them on a few cars and I was wondering where I could get one or a decent copy item?

 

Search for the RS Accessory kit mate, I did have a copy fibreglass splitter of one of these but flogged it years ago, not seen one since!

 

I was gonna try the local Ford garage but everything i ask for lately seems to be NLA!

 

Ford garage wont have them mate, be Very suprised if they did!

You need to search parts for sale on different forums etc, best bet might be to try local RS Breakers mate, there's loads on here aswell

No offence meant to anyone as everyone has different ideas…..but I just don’t understand why people want to stick loads of bits of plastic on an old Mk3/4 escort in an attempt to make it look better. It’s a 15/20 year old Ford its never gonna look cool/good!

Standard body is the way to go imo!! Old skool cool!

its a part from ford-a know this not necceasarily a good thing but do ya get my point?

 

Whether Ford make it or Carlton Automotive …..its still a bit of plastic stuck on the front of your car in an attempt to make it look better Standard body all the way imo…RS’s aren’t built to look good they are about performance!!
