Default cosworth rear brake presure control valve

can anyone tell me where i might be able to get one of these as it is a non serviceable item and ford no longer have them, it is situated near the passenger side rear wheel up near th chassis a brake pipe comes from the front goes into this valve then comes out the other side from what i can understand it reduces the brake pressure to the rear wheels, has anyone had this problem and is there an easy solution i.e an aftermarket set up that fits straight on any help would be much appreciated, its for a 3dr by the way but is the same on a saph cossie.

Yep, I had this problem on both sapphires. U wou't get a new compensator and some people link em out, which is risky.
I can get you a as new one, but it isn't cheap. They came off a new car, brakes stripped prior to rally conversion. Let me know if you want one, Ł130 plus PP.

Otherwise try a scrappy for a one.

Hi,

Symptoms are kwick wear of rear pads or rear wheels lock up when ABS is disconnected.

Regards.

Thanks Cluade,

If they are hard to get hold of then I think I'll try and find a spare now in case mine packs up at some point.
