Default Starter motor advice please **What fits???**

Managed to get a starter that worked a few months ago, but recently, when car has stood for 4hrs+, it wont start until I clunk it with a hammer

Is there anything I can possibly do myself to repair it, or is it best to get a recon one, if so where from?

2nd hand good condition one anyone?

Thanks in advance mofo's

Its not a loose / poor connectiono on the wires is it?

my saph suffers from a random refuse to start problem. Wiggle of the wires and she always starts no problem.

solenoid is duff. chances are it just needs a new cap and contacts.
easy enough to do yourself is the price is right for a cap and contact set.

failing that try ebay always loads of starters on there.
