mine was reading 83 to 85 which i thought was a bit low so i put a new coolant temp sensor in tonight and now it reads between 77 and 80.

Same here, but as I've never heard my fans cut in, I asked Karl to check to see if they were working when I had a set-up a few weeks back. He found they were cutting in at 96 and said that was ok.
