Default Fiesta ST 2005 vs 2006?

Tempted at getting one to use as a daily runner.

Does it differ much between the current 2006 model and 2005? Ive noticed the front lights have change but are there any bigger changes made?

If there is not much difference I will wait until next year as the 2005 model should have dropped a bit more by then.

Later model...........Hazards come on automatically under heavy breaking, twin reversing lights and twin rear fogs.

Rear lights look much better on 2006

Thanks for the replies

Looks like the 2006 model is quite a update from 2005.

Ive decided to save up some more and try to grab a 2006 model next year instead of a 2005 this year. Hate to take loans even though its just a small one.

some of the features are indeed better on the 2006 model, but likewise i think they have taken a step back too. ie front lights, gay dash and dials. then again its down to personal preference.

I am really surprised that you are all saying the 2006 model is the better one...... I had the 2005 one and from what I've been hearing from someone at Ford, the 2005 ones are liked more by the general public and they are requesting the older shape rather than the new.

I must admit the dash was a big improvement in the 2006 model, but the lights don't do the ST any justice...... not on some colours anyway, especially the blue one...

I do miss mine though..... might just have to re-invest and find miself another one in a few months time.

This mite sound a bit pedantic but if the 2006 model has nicer rear lights, then couldn't you get a '05 model and fit the rear lights from the '06 to save money?
