Going by the dates given, it would be impossible for this car to be registered on a 'B' plate as it shows the car not being manufactured till during the 'C' Plate run.

I quized the DVLA about this when I got my car and the girl told me that all those years ago it wasn't necessary to put down exact date of manufacture and they just put down the last day of the year of manufacture. Hence the reason a hell of a lot of S1's (and probably lots of other cars) have the same manufacture date.
