Which Monitor?
Pectel, but you need a board and loom mods IIRC, or SECS for ease (SECS are the bollox) I have a SECS but its going in favour of a Pectel I reckon, seeing as I have the proper Pectel loom etc I think it would be rude not to
they are all pretty good though, but they all need things example collins need a collins chip don't they??
SECS don't log data do they?
see how a question everything
i'm just going off stuff i can remember here, i surprise myself sometimes

Paid £350 for my pectel monitor almost 2 years ago and is a brilliant bit of kit.
personal preference over the 3 would be the pectel everytime.
just needs the relevant ecu mod to be able to control/use the monitor.
and with its in-built diagnosis its perfect when a sensor packs up.

I've chosen the SECS as you can set alarms and it records the peaks
its also a price valued item and its brand new.
Pectel are only available as second hand and the data logger is useful only of you can modify your fueling and ignition maps in my mind..
The collins is a copy of the basic pectel monitor so no logging
To me the only miss of the SECS would be Air/fuel ratio display as well as EGT
but these can be fitted separatly with a zeitronix for instance (for those who wants data logging) or by two additional gauges

surfing around on the internet, i came across this: http://www.ct-tuning.co.uk/product_i...products_id=64
Seeing the other products they sell, i assume it'll be much cheaper than a pectel for instance. And still do a nice job. it'll even can do datalogging

If you are a whizz with the soldering iron, you can fit Pectel / SECS anywhere in the car.
We could fit the SECS in the banana pod for you in the same way we did the Pectel item for Kelvin?
We also supply the SECS monitors and I have two sitting here right now ready for dispatch should anyone want one
