Default Cossie cambelt tension?

Just a quickie. In the process of refitting my cambelt etc, as a rough guide am I right in thinking that the tension is somewhere near if the belt can just be turned through 90'??

Will get a tension checker from work tonight to make sure.

If you turn the tensioner anti-clockwise to tighten, the belt may catch on the thermostat housing

Make sure you check belt tension at cold and after fitting belt, rotate crank twice fully clockwise, then 1 full turn anticlockwise.

Personally I wouldnt like it so the belt could be turned a full 90 degrees

70-80 degrees for me
