mike have they got the same features as a green one thats about 2 years old, reason being if i wanted to swap mine over whould i have to swap the wiring loom or whould it just un plug from one and fit the other, cheers dunc
Does anyone have any pics of the Escos ashtray fitment please as this sounds like just the thing I am after

Even if your boost registers above what the MAP sensor can "see", the SECS monitor will only display what the MAP sensor can read up to (which is also all the ECU sees) and is what-ever the MAP sensor range is. So although the MAP sensor is stated as being 2 or 3 bar, you have to first subtract 1 bar (absolute) from that figure to realise what the sensor will read up to. Typically it is around 18psi for a 2 bar and 30psi for a 3 bar.
So say your turbo boosted above those pressures in the mid-range, then the SECS monitor won't display a higher figure, because it only sees what the MAP sensor sees, so the peak figure shown will only ever be what-ever the end of the range is on the MAP sensor (which again is also what the ECU will be seeing).
The way round this for fuelling is that the a/f ratio curve is extrapolated and fuel and ignition figures put in to the EPROM based on this.
