Fookin typical. Start driving a beemer, get my first parking ticket ever.

I got done for parking on the pavement. I was parker on a narrow road with no yellow lines but didn't want to block the road so I put two wheels on the pavement, which has a lowered kerb. It's only an inch or two high. Does this matter?

Today I've just put it ont he road. Sod worrying about blocking it, I'm not being raped for £30 every day.

Unfortunately, you'll have to pay it m8. Not allowed to park on the pavement as it's for pedestrians

Bastard Chip!

Fair enough, I will pay up. Parked there ten or so times in other cars tho with no trouble. They even booked a woman who lived in one of the houses yesterday though to be fair.

In future I will happily block the road, safe in the knowledge that it's the right thing to do, according to the law

Presumabley you have a disabled badge to display as you are completely incapable of parking somewhere safe and legal and proceeding on foot to the actual front door you require?

I have parked somewhere safe, fool. Just up the road from work. Most of the streets here are permit holders only so I have had to drive away from work and park where this doesn't apply.

So I am already walking from the car to where I am going!

Anyway, it's a 2 lane road and there's a free lane still.

Well, someone has this afternoon informed me that while I was at the ring, an email went round saying parking on the street I have parked on is now prohibited.

Well, if I go out there after work and find another ticket I'm gonna go fookin loony. I pay my road tax and that means I have the right to park wherever the fook I want if there are no yellow lines or signs stating otherwise.

They don't even know I work here so it seems they would just assume so for anybody parked on that road and book them regardless. Fooking idiots
