how would i go about getting a house built?


i have the ideas in me head of what i want


just need to get the ball rolling really?


the actual building side of it i can get sorted its more the paperwork bit

Find a plot then get an architect or look for an existing house design that suits you. Your architect can arrange the planning permission plus the various surveys and tests required.

Try the selfbuild websites and plotsearch/plotfinder.
Property auctions are worth checking out but its essential to check everything very carefully and talk to the local planning officer before bidding
