for sale and priced for a quick sale.i have got a straight black large turbo escort cosworth,k reg.car has covered around 10000miles and has full service historyand all previous mots.even has aprintout from the dvla showing all old owners with photocopies of all old v5 docs.will come with a full mot.the car has the cloth hexagon trim,which i prefer to leather and its in great condition.
engine-wise i know it is stage 3-greens,3 bar,chipped and running about 22psi.has new roose boost hoses and k&n group a air filter,also has bailey header tank,swirl pot and breather kit.also had a clutch within last 12 months.not sure about any rebuilds yet as i have got to look through the history file tonight.i know it has recently had 2 lower arms,front wheel bearings and front shocks(standard,genuine ford items)
has standard alloys ,x-drilled discs-usual escos stuff.cat 1 alarm.

starts on the button and drives well.bit harsh as it is on vibratech mounts.a nice car overall ,no rust on arches etc,tiny bit under spoiler on boot lid but minimal.
best thing about this car is the price-i will take £10500 for a quick sale.may consider another cossie 3 door/sapphire in p/x if the price is right-mine is not expensive so i wouldnt expect yours to be overpriced.may even consider any other car.-again if the deal is right.

ive just took some pics but its a bit dark so you cant really see it but ill post them anyway and get some better ones tomorrow.

also has the vecta immobiliser and the clutch was done in sept 2005.it has also recently been serviced/set up by motorsport developments with silkolene pro-s oil and iridium plugs.9 owners.

some more pics-it also has samco coolant hoses and an alloy radiator.its a nice car




the car was at santa pod on the cheshire group stand.

the only things i can see that req doing at some point is an oil leak-suspect front diff oil seal and the engine mounts are a bit"harsh" but thats is up to the buyer.the front hockey sticks are in the car as one side has broken at the bottom
going to get it on the ramp after and have a look.

OIL LEAK UPDATE;

right ive just had it up on the ramp and cleaned it off as best as i could and found 2 definate oil leaks;

1 power steering rubber pipe was leaking and has been for a long time-NOW FIXED THANKS TO A JUBILEE CLIP.

2.oil return from breather kit that returns the oil to the sump had come off due to whoever originally fitted it hadnt put it on right as the hose was too short and only just went on about 10mm.can you imagine how much oil would come out of a)the return pipe and b)blowing out of the sump.
NOW FIXED WITH A NEW,CORRECT LENGHT PIECE OF HOSE.
also the pipe from the original breather to the bailey tank was kinked and has now been re-routed.

now im pretty sure that these are the main sources of oil leaks,especially as i think the oil pipe has been leaking since it had the clutch fitted in sept 2005.

only time will tell and i dont expect it to be completely oil free as all 4x4 cossies(well all cossies) leak oil unfortunatelybut im pretty confident to say it will be no worse than any other one now.

there is nothing in the history about rebuilds but had the head done in 1999/2000.very good oil pressure.
