Default Are my brakes worse than they should be?

Ive never been happy with brakes on my ERST, and dont really know a) if there is a problem, b) what the problem is.

Im not sure if it is to do with the brake servo?, a little while ago the brake servo was changed but I dont know if it is a proper RS turbo brake servo, or say a 1.3 / 1.6 brake servo? how would I know? does a genunie RS Turbo brake servo make all the difference?

My brakes are average if you really jump on them, but when you just want to slow down a bit, it's really quie difficult. You have to use a lot more pressure on my brake pedal in comparison to any other car I have driven, hence why when I get out of my RST and in to my daily driver, when I first brake I nearly get thrown through the windscreen! lol as I havent adjusted from driving the rst!

Thanks.

Brakes on newer cars appear to be better than breaks on older cars if that helps

Newer cars brakes are heavily servo'd which gives the illusion that they are better but I can assure in most cases they aren't

Im pretty convinced that my brakes are worse than they should be though TBH, as they really are not very assuring! lol

Is there a big difference between the RS turbo servo, and a "normal" escort mk4 servo?
