Junk Fax's are driving us mad
we have about 10 per day, soaking up all of our ink and paper..
We have registered with TPS twice but no difference...
Any body else have experience with solving this
(without contacting the premium rate 0800 numbers on the bottom of the fax )

I think it depends on your service provider... ours charge a fortune for 0800's

 

Have you registered with just the TPS (Telephone preference service) or have you registered with the FPS (Fax preference service) too?

I registered my companies fax no. with the FPS and the faxes seemed to stop virtually overnight.

get them sent to a fax modem on a PC then just delete the shite and print the genuine ones

what's a fax? thought they went out with the arc?

 

FPS is optional for companies to use and so is MPS, however TPS is mandatory. They must use it.

You may still get the faxes but you need to report the company and contact them informing them you are contacting them.
