I Had a crystal 2wd, but some muppet before me had blown it over in Imperial blue on the outside so when you opened the bonnet it still showed its original colour. Should have just left it crystal blue and got a white one to attack with paint.

i cant see that as being right mate TBH

as crystal blue saphs would of been registerd as blue
AS would ALL moonstone cossies (3dr, 2wd saph and 4x4 saph)
and smokestone blue saphs would of as well

and there are definitly more than 70 left!

i see what your saying, but im just the messenger from my mate those years ago, not the rarest- crystal blue i know, but shit load rarer than white, moostone, mercury etc the color's you normally see.

as for the 70 left i quite belive it ..... 300 made in like 1988 so 18 years later 25% ish left .... hmmmmm beliveable

and also just to add i assume my mate would of taken that all into account in his search........ or maybe he just bull shitted me!!!

i had the diff done by bernie, the gearbox was re-built ages ago by previous owner, as for driving better ...... hhmmmm

shall i say it drives different

if you want to drive it fast its awesome very sure footed, once you get used to the amount of grip the atb gives you and strange little movements of the back end as its getting grip. its awesome.

if sideways it your thing well still very good , except you need to 100% provoke it to go sideways otherwise it grips and grips and grips

But once it is sideways .......... thats all ill say!!
