I have noticed a lot of RST for sale for around £1500 why is this, not that long ago they where 2.5K - 3K.

 

rst prices will only go up for decent examples...if a car is say £1500 (or seemingly cheap) then theres usualy a reason!

 

Cheap RST's are usually cheap for a reason.

but dont always assume that dearer ones are any better than the cheaper ones,just because priced dearer doesnt mean its in any better condition

ive never paid over 500 for a erst

ive noticed prices are goin up rather than down on clean cars

 

Very true, viewed a £3.5k RST and after being told how mint it was took a trip to Wales to view it and it was a fucking shed

 

Ther are some proper shiters out there but then you can find the bargins but usually anything under £2000 will need work i looked at a few for around £1300-£1800 and out of about 5 or 6 in that price range only one was clean (no rust) but the milage was like it had been to the moon and back and it had no history with it. so anything under £2000 will usually need work done and have no or little papper work with it thats why i think if your looking for one you should be looking at paying £2000 up.

 

generally you pay for what you get. Their will be the dreamers with rustbuckets no history etc demanding 5k for a bag of shite. However its hard to find a really mint example with not even a scratch
