Full 2wd setup
4 Pots on the front
Disc conversion on the rear

Bought it a couple of years ago, paid about Ł350 for the whole lot, inclusive of 2 front hubs with driveshafts, complete braided brake lines to replace the standard ones, and a near on brand new servo.

Nope, never felt the rear end locking up, even jumped on the brakes on a wet road and it braked in a straight line

Can he stiffen his front suspension ?

As he brakes its possibly transfering weight forward..... thus lifting the back and losing traction... try it with 2 people sat in the boot

Focus ST170 300mm front conversion
Standard rear.

Stops nicely. The rear brakes do so little of th eoverall braking effort I see no reason to dick about with the setup.

ABS has been filed away in the bin as well
