Chances are it will sit quite high. Problem is that if u lower it the tyres might catch on the arches so u may need to do some adjustments there

Mines is lowered 40mm on pi springs and with my 17's doesnt rub at all. Only catches occasionally with two ppl in the back. Make sure you have Falken ZE512 205/40/17 tyres and u will be fine. Its a bit of a hit and miss tho, check out www.zsoc.com if u wana look further into it as sum zetec s' rub and some dont. Best of luck mate.

Stick to a 16" wheel and avoid Falken tyres unless you want to go ditch finding. Falken ZE502 and the ZE512 are pants. You should buy tyres on how they perform not for giving clearance because you've put wheels on that are too big for the car

I've had falkens on my car for over 2 years and never had any problems with them at all. U will only go ditch finding if you drive outwith your own capabilities mate.

mikey109 use a decent tyre and then comment mate.

I thought my ZE502's were awesome so got ZE512's when they wore out. Couldn't get them again as they only had three so got Yoko A539's which are a tyre I don't overly rate but they stand head and shoulder over the Falken tyres.

Well thats my opinion mate and last time i checked i was entitled to it. They do the job for me well so just passing on to some1 who asked for advice and how to get 17's onto there car so i told them. No1 asked about tyre opinions until u popped up.

Wind your neck in mate.

You advised a tyre choice which in my opinion/experience (and my fathers, who incidentally has 40 years of tyre research experience behind him) is naff. I advised against this just the same as I would with any naff suggestion. Tyres are the only contact between you and the road therefore fitting decent good quality ones is of paramount importance.
