Default Your next car?

As title really.

Maybe im getting old, but lately about the ONLY cars ive seen that make me think "i want one of them" is posh pimp-mobiles.
And ive never been into anything but pure performance before.
I blame being round the Autovision Jag and the Rayvern 300C, you get to realise how pikey our cars are

I think once the Skyline is finished, had my fun with, and sold for big money, its time for something properly bling, modded 300C, Escalade (some awesome ones on autotrader) or a Navigator (they much cheaper, didnt realise that).
If itd fit on the drive id get a Hummer H2 but they dont, so i woudnt

98/99/00 5litre V8 M5s are a bit of a bargain too, and cheaper, but i dont think they quite the same, bit ordinary, see em constantly.

Ill keep the drift S13 for my performance kicks, esp as i dont mind crashing it, and i still really wanna do my DIY 5litre twin turbo sierra, but as a main money car, i think i might grow up n stop modding cheap cars s they fast but never on the road, and get summat properly cool, who gives a fuck about 200mph and shit like that.

Escalades do look real pimp and still not that many in this country (yet!). I'm still definitely getting an F150 Lightning next, hopefully soon!! There is better out there but ive had my heart set on one for years! 22" chrome wheels are a must!!!

After I get the S1 to the point I am happy with, I want to do an Escort Cos with a trick transmission, probably on 4.44 diffs.

Then as a road car I keep thinking about the new ST Focus, STTDCI Mondeo and suprisingly an E46 M3. I keep thinking about a couple of others as well but those are the main attractions at the moment.

I've just bought this weapon to tide me over when the cossie goes

Three grand, 63K miles, one owner from new and 56mpg.

Compared to the cossie its bloody luxury.

However, just the ride in the cossie to SCC with a fucked gearbox put a smile on my face this morning.

Once a new house is sorted my kicks will be from a 'new' fun car. It will either be a E36 M3, brand new Evo or if possible and if I find a good one, a GT3. But they are still way over 40k for a nice one.

Driving a newer car really brings home how old and rattly cossies are now, although they can bring a massive smile to your face.

Paul.

Paul Paul Paul - E36 is the old one - you mean E46!

Next car for me? If I have to pimp my ass out on weekends, I want a Noble M12 for my birthday next year.

My fiances dad has just bought in a Black 06 navigator with 108 miles on it,fully loaded and was 15k cheaper than anything here the same spec. Were going to new york in november to see the unvailing of the new 07 navigator which i think he will be the first to have in the uk,Due for delivery in feb 07

I nearly bought a escalde EXT, the one with the pick up back but i went for a new nissan navara as the warrentys they give are great and you dont pay for the first few services, the uk one is based on the american one now anyway and its pretty big not mine but exactly the same without the snow

Looking at a new M3 convertible for the misses at moment and then i want to get my hands on the new skyline

Depends on the mileage I do for work but most likely the everyday chariot will be either another Fiesta or if a bigger car a diesel.

As for 'toys' I quite fancy an E30 M3 to sit beside my S1...........can't seriously justify spending what could be deemed 'silly money' on a car when I could put the money into my house.

Good good

Otherwise I thought you might have suggested you were going for an E36 328 with a full M3 bodykit.

I know how you don't like fast cars

now the cossie is finally getting to where i want it, i keep thinking of the 'newer better' cars that won't cost me a fortune to run

hankered after a TT for ages or a Leon cupra R or maybe an M3 cab, not mindblowing cars by any stretch but always liked 'em

but tbh i think i'll stick with the cossie for another 12 months at least, cos i've spent too much recently to lose out big time

Theres a guy selling a 1970 Chevell SS with a 454 in it near me at the moment. I WANT that but cant afford it

I'll probably end up getting a new evo, or a nearly new one as that's the one car I really want to own. Would just leave it standard as I think theyre amazing cars.
