Am i right in thinking you need to be a full member before you can have full access to the forums??

Im in the process of sending my form off with payment but was just curious thats all. When I try and register on line its saying my email address has been banned!?!?!

You have to put your ISP home email address (think thats what you call it)
I had to put in our freeserve one.

You cannot register with a free email (hotmail, etc). Don't you have an email via your internet provider ? @ntlworld.com / @BTworld.com / etc ??

 

Yeah already tried to email them but have had no reply. Its hotmail im using so looks like thats the problem. Only email ad I have too.

 

I am registered on there with a hotmail address, and it still lets me log in and post And I ain't a paid up RSOC member either

Just tried again now and it says free email accounts are banned??

 

Yes your hotmail one will be banned so regiester a user name for an msn.com email address and it'll let you use that.

Once you're on you will be able to register your account and it will be able to cross ref against your post code and membership expiry date. You'll then get a little symbol under your avatar to say you're a full member.

Although there is a ban on using free email accounts such as Hotmail, all those that registered using Hotmail before the ban was put in place aren't affected. It only applies to new registrations.
