Default BACK FROM THE RING TRIP....HAD A GREAT TIME

Oh well, back in Sunny UK....LOL...

Has an excellent time in Germany with lots of great people.

had plenty of laps round the ring and a big thanks to all those who allowed me a drive of their cars.

A very memorable holiday with some excellent food and some great memories.

Some hell raizing passenger rides in a Porsche GT3, "King of the Ring Rainbird Escos", M3 CSL, JC's Evo V, M5 and of corse the trusty mondeo tdci that used £35 of diesel the entire 1800 mile trip........

Looking forward to some great pictures from the trip.

See you all soon.

A little exageration but OMG how efficient the diesel mondeo was of 7 Eights.

I am sure his entire ring trip diesel cost was no more than £50.

Just got back home, and all I can say is carnage

Me and sticky nearly had our cars wrote off about 2 miles from the port in Rotterdam by some dutch cheggers swerving into us, hitting the brakes and the like - we showed him who the daddy was by blocking him in inide a tunnel tho, he shit his pants when he realised that there was more than one car that he had upset

and the damage to mine from the ring, 4 tyres, one steering rack, 2 sets of pukka trackday brake pads, and possibly another gearbox - oh well, its getting broken for spares and a project at the end of the month anyway

the best bit - getting home on one tank of fuel

AWESOME holiday, best trip yet

Really had a fantastic time.

Obviously had the "slight" downer of the fact i totalled the Beamer, but not going to let that spoil the memory of what was up till then a perfect trip.

Cant wait for the next one

MASSIVE thanks to the JC motorsport lads for taking my car back to the hotel for me as it was starting to annoy the official sat wounded in the car park.

Bit of a shame about all that bullshit that was circulating on the internet about me losing oil (i hadnt) and killing bikers(i didnt) and the fact that my accident caused some bloke called dave who lives in cardiff to have a lousy performance in bed with his wife the year before last and everything else that people started going on about once the rumourmill got going, but i think most sites it were on have actually got at least some of the facts on there now instead!

Looks like if we are going again this year it has to be 18th-22nd of august, as thats the only time the track is open much.

Im going as passenger only next time as im too busy with other projects to get another car ready for the ring in time.

MEGA RUMOURS........LOL.

However, I am glad Nicole was in and out of hospital within a couple of days after her incident.

No-one wants to be stuck in a foreign hospital when they supposed to be on holiday having fun.

pmsl @ Dan

What a time

Was FANTASTIC, and I really did pmsl @ some of the rumours when I got in last night!!

The most memroble part for me, was being out in JCs EVO, it was fantastic, so a BIG thanks to him

We didnt do too bad on fuel, a tank and half did us 650 mile

Car got us home ok, despite one hell of a noisey wheelbearing, and some other loud noise we couldn't actually figure out what it was, but somethings fooked, maybe a gearbox pmsl

But it was worth it!!!!

Cheers to Chip, Jim, Nic, Stu, and again JC for the pax rides

And thanks to all who went and made it what it was

Have just heard that as a result of the mud dropped on the M25 as a result of alex driving up it in his imprezza after he hit it at the ring there has been an accident

Apparently, 5829 people are dead so far and they are going to have to shut london for a week as a result, at a charge of 351 trillion pounds an hour

NEWS JUST IN!

well, aparantly, Gracey clipped a traffic cone at the entrance to the 'Ring, it cleared the fence, landed on someones head, who then staggered into the road and knocked the windscreen out of the ring taxi, that was going for fuel, and killed sabine as she crashed into the petrol pumps
