whats the best size (smaller) for a front number plate folks

i have a slightly undersized front plate on my saff

instead of 90mm high lettering i have approx 80

standard size plate is 20 inches by 4 inches

mine is approx 16 x 3 inches

Mine has very slightly smaller lettering, and then the plate size has just been trimmed down...

have the standard font size etc, just chopped off all the extra plastic to make it smaller

As Fil says above mate your safest bet is to have the standard sized lettering with the plate trimmed down to minimum legal size (11mm from the letters). Others are more daring to say the least though!!!

i want 2 x number plates with the reg and nothing else 1 of them smaller for the front and 2 x black and silver exactly the same matey
