NTL were supposed to come and sort out a possible fault on my telephone line, Muppets didnt turn up
Anyhow when i try to call my house it is a ringing tone on my mobile but nothing to hear in the house?? and when i lift the reciever in the house thats dead nowt at all.
Is it my house phone thats knockered or what???
Any help apreciated

 

I had this with NTL when mine first went in.

The connection hadnt been terminated at the green box.

 

i have had ntl for 2 years now,thing is the net is fine and my sky works ?? thought they all came down the same line????

 

Thought they were all independant.

Could always try another phone if you got one spare.

 

I rang a phone engineer once and said to him "I think something is wrong with the line - the phone hasn't rung in months"

He said "It's cos no one is ringing you, you loner"
