Hi All,

Had my escort cosworth less than 24 hours and its developed a misfire. Didnt miss a beat on the 100 mile journey home, and then this morning, its coughing and spluttering all over the place. The only variable is the weather - its rained all night and all morning, so I am assuming this might have somthing to do with it....

Any ideas?

check the ign amp multi plug for a start,water loves getting in there,its just near the coil,bolted to the inner wing

 

or the coil pack is wet or defective
