rears wont be a problem, front may catch a little under hard breaking and cornering

Sharphy you tight wadded wad!!!

I had those on my 500 with the widths as suggested above (front and rear).

Slight dremel work at the front and back (more at the back though, due to the squatting under load).

All in all it was fine though after a bit of shaving.

I know some that have done hardly any shaving really...... but perhaps the TS 500bhp was stronger than most at pulling the arse end down on boost!

the wheels are 8" front and back with 35 offset.tyres are 215x40x17.
to clear the calipers with these wheels you need a 3mm spacer.
i also changed the hub bolts to 10mm longer ones as there was'nt a lot of thread left on the originals.

the rear arches dont seem to catch at all.(standard rh springs)
the front drivers side i've had to shave back to the screws at the top of the arch(standard rh uprated springs)
passenger side seems fine.
i think the 5 spoke mo fit the brakes without the spacer.
hope this helps

Hi Kev

if your fitting the 8 x 17 et 35 on the front you will defo have to do the arches and trim the kit and not being funny i would uprate the suspension aswell because under hard braking it will most defo catch

i have 8 x 17 all round on the 3dr which are all et 33 i had to trim the arches and trim the arch kit has no choice

and when i used the 235-610-17 slicks all round i had to have the arches all folded after that because they were catching.... a 235 slick is like a 255 road tyre

my car under heavy braking doesn't move/dip and my car doesn't sqaut either when launching

personally think if you putting big brakes on the front with standard suspension your asking for trouble

this is the way my car sits.. it is pretty low but nothing catches under braking or speed

alot of peeps can get the wheels on but you look at how high their cars are to stop catching the archs

thanks for replys everyone

max...i,ll buy that camper when i,m ready to slap a cossie in it! no seriously too many cars lying around at the mo!

3dr ary, thanks for sizes and pics

Fagin you gaylord! did you have coilovers on it? i have a set ready to go on pretty stiff springs and have driven the car they are on just now and it dont seem to squat so i might be ok

marco...as above i have a set of coilovers quite hard sprung to go on and i,d have mine higher than yours as i like the original raised back look of the 3 door plus i have a brand new 500 splitter on the front so want to keep it up a bit more
