Default lowered suspension help

does brand new suspension take a time to bed in? got a gmax 60mm kit on my cabriolet and when i go over a pot hole or dip in the road theres a real loud bang as if the suspension were bottoming out.. had it all off again to check i fitted it properly and i did, still the same noises, also got real bad scrubbing coming from n/s front arch when turning
think i might go back to a standardish ride height..

With a 60mm drop mate that's what you're going to get. If you don't like it the raise the car.

60mm is far too low anyway.

fair point might order a set of 10-20mm drop rst springs which would work out 30-40mm on a cabriolet

60mm cabriolet springs would be only 35mm on a rst so not really that low plus gmax shocks are shorter than standard shocks so you have cut your bump stops down abit oh buy some shorter aftermarket ones

there originally 40mm rs turbo springs and shocks, which i think work out 60 mm on anything else mk4... going to put higher springs on i think.
